To get the E-Scooter road ready, you'll need to complete a few important finishing touches. Complete the steps in the order shown below.
Mount the battery holder onto the rack to the frame using the provided fasteners. Make these snug but not too tight. Note the direction of the battery holder.
Mount the battery holder on to the rack to the frame using provided cable ties. Use a few to keep the rack firmly in place. Hint: Remove the battery first. squeeze the rear "arms" of the rack and place them over the exisiting fateners on the inner part of the frame (near rear fork).
Mount the headlight & horn assembly as shown. (Do this bfore the next step so that everything is in the right place!) Don't overtighten the provided fastener.
Mount the throttle switch as shown. Don't overtighten the provided fastener.
Mount the rider display. Don't overtighten the provided fastener.
Mount the horn and light assembly. Hint: You can mount it through the handlebar stem, or you can mount it elsewhere using cable ties.
Carefully route the wiring so that it doesn't pull, pinch, twist or drag. Take your time here! You'll use lots of cable ties! You can trim them once everything is in place. Hint: Use the space below the kickplate to hide most of your wiring. >>>Follow these examples<<< to help with your wire routing.
Attach the grips using by gently twisting them into place, then "lock" them into place using small screwdriver. Note: We waited to attach the grips until almost the end just in case we need to fix any problems with the circuit components.
Attach the diamond-plated kickplate by reusing the screws from the old kickplate.
Double-check everything! Before you road test you eScooter, remember the ABCs...
A: Is there AIR in the tires?
B: Are the BRAKES working properly?
C: Is the CIRCUITRY working as expected?
ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET AND OBEY ALL TRAFFIC AND SAFETY LAWS!
