1. Agreement

By downloading or using the Sunstride application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. What Sunstride does

Sunstride is a self-improvement app that lets you lock chosen apps on your device until you reach a daily step goal, and rewards you with points, achievements, and streaks. It is a motivational and self-control tool.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App.

4. Subscriptions, free trial, and billing

• Sunstride offers auto-renewing subscriptions: a monthly plan and a yearly plan (for example, $6.99/month or $29.99/year; prices may vary by region and are shown in the App at purchase).

• A 7-day free trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers. Trial eligibility is determined by Google Play.

• Billing is handled by Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of any free trial.

• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.

• Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription any time in Google Play → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's policies. We do not separately process payments or refunds.

• Price changes may occur; where required, Google Play will notify you and obtain any needed consent.

5. No account required

Sunstride does not require you to create an account or log in. Your access is tied to your Google Play account.

6. The app-lock feature

The app-lock is a self-control aid, not a security or parental-control guarantee. You acknowledge that:

• You choose which apps to lock, and you are responsible for those choices. Do not lock apps you may need for emergencies.

• An "emergency unlock" is provided as a safety valve, subject to limits described in the App.

• The lock relies on Android system features and device behavior. Some device manufacturers aggressively restrict background apps, which may affect reliability. We do not guarantee the lock will function without interruption on every device.

7. Health and safety

• Sunstride is not a medical device and does not provide medical, health, or fitness advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting any new physical activity.

• Walk safely. Stay aware of your surroundings; do not use the App while walking in a way that endangers you or others.

• Step counts are estimates from your device's sensor and may not be perfectly accurate.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, including attempting to reverse engineer, tamper with, circumvent subscription controls, or interfere with its operation, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

9. Intellectual property

The App, its content, design, and branding are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

10. Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us (through Google Play) in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any subscription in Google Play.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
