Sunstella foundation was born in 2021 during the COVID pandemic. The entire society was paused and largely isolated. Many people endured hardship. Many students were badly impacted.
We created the foundation to help and promote minority students in technology, especially graduate students. These students are intelligent and hardworking. However, they need to overcome various challenges in language, culture, finance, and education during their studies.
But these students are also the future of Americans, especially in the technology field. Many startup founders and professors were minority students. Without those students, this America will lose its technology advantages and, more importantly, lose its identity as a country.
Sunstella foundation focuses on celebrating the achievement of those minority students in the technology fields. We also try to provide mentorship and career advice to these students through workshops and online forums.
