" The distance between joy and sorrow can be measured in a HEARTBEAT."
I have always loved to craft beautiful works of art and have always done it as a hobby, until 2011. In 2010 I got pregnant with my second daughter, during a routine sonogram they found a large mass on my left ovary that was to be removed once the baby was born. But on February 02,2011 Gabby had other plans, she had gotten and entangled in her own umbilical cord and passed at 21 weeks into the pregnancy. Three months later I would have my first surgery to remove the mass. After a lengthy and hard recovery, I was working out one day and felt a pop. The pain was intense and felt as if my insides were in a knot. After a visit to the ER, I learned I developed an incisional hernia. I would later have a second surgery to repair my abdominal wall. During all of this I started watching YouTube just to pass the time and the one thing I watched a lot was nail art. I said to my self .." I can do that".. so I did, Synalicious Beauty. During a visit from my Aunt Betty (Tootie), she noticed the wood art I had on my wall and remarked about how she'd like to have something like that. She asked where I purchased it, my response was.. " I made it." she then said.." You should sell this stuff." So, after careful thought and talking things over with my family.. I started, Synalicious Crafts by Lisa. My little store is slowing growing and I'm always working on NEW creations and ideas. As a result I changed the name to All Things Synalicious to represent the many branches of my little shop. Unfortunately people didn't realize that I was mostly an arts and craft Creator. They thought my store had a little sinful nature. After talking with my I decided it was time for a change and I needed a name that reflected me and what my shop truly is, as a child my nickname was sunshine because I was always happy and smiling. Wanting the same reflection in my shop I decided to change the name to Sunshine Crafty Cottage. I love arts and crafts of all kinds and I'm always looking to improve my skills and new ideas. My goal is to one day make this a full-time career and go worldwide. ❤️Lisa
