(Aaron is the one on the right)
Contrary to popular belief, Aaron isn't in charge. His role as Network Team Leader is to support our members in designing and running their own programme of activities. While he's the first point of contact for new members, and the first person to go to if things don't go quite to plan, he isn't running the section; that's our members' job!
Outside of Network, Aaron is a Cub and Scout Leader at 3rd Sunderland (Vaux Own), and works as a Computer Science Teacher.
James keeps everything running smoothly by supporting with administrative tasks. Whether that's writing risk assessments, or taking minutes in our monthly meetings, he's the man for the job!
James' Scouting volunteering sees him supporting Cubs and Scouts at 55th Sunderland, and also helping to deliver Durham County's amazing programme of large-scale events.
Cameron is the newest member of our leadership team, and as a younger person, he's perfectly suited to keeping our social media presence in top shape. If he's not snapping photos, he'll be writing up a post ready to share with the world!
Cameron's the Team Leader for Cubs at 39th Sunderland, but puts in most of his volunteering hours outside of Scouting, working with our charitable friends at the Red Sky Foundation.
Every group has that one person who's always looking out for everyone else, and in our case, that's Alex. She makes sure all our Network members get the support that they need to access all the great activities we run, and works to ensure that our programme is as inclusive as possible.
Alex's scouting volunteering continues in the same vein, working as the District Community and Inclusion Lead for Sunderland Scouts.
