District Scout Network Team Leader
The Scout Network Team Leader is there to support our amazing Young People (aged 18 - 24) in the Scout Network Section, as they experience Adventure, build a Community, and learn Skills for Life.
We’re looking for a District Scout Network Team Leader who can be the voice of our 18-25 year old Scout Network members and encourage them to shape and participate in the Scout Network programme of activities and awards. They manage these young people and make sure the rules are followed, all while supporting them to take the lead in shaping their own programme.

Cameron is our District Youth Lead here in Sunderland. A big part of his role is supporting Network with everything they do; and, of course, getting involved in the adventure as a Network member himself!
Cameron's the Team Leader for Cubs at 39th Sunderland, but puts in most of his hours outside of Scouting, working with our charitable friends at the Red Sky Foundation.

District Scout Network Team Member - Inclusion and Wellbeing
Every group has that one person who's always looking out for everyone else, and in our case, that's Alex. She makes sure all our Network members get the support that they need to access all the great activities we run, and works to ensure that our programme is as inclusive as possible.
Alex's scouting volunteering continues in the same vein, working as the District Community and Inclusion Lead for Sunderland Scouts.
