The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world's largest HR professional society. Our student chapter at CSU Bakersfield provides valuable opportunities for students interested in Human Resources and business management.

Our Activities

• Bi-weekly meetings for discussions and planning

• Guest Speaker Series: Twice per semester, featuring local leadership (company executives, HR consulting representatives)

• Fall Semester: 

  • Volunteer at the Kern County SHRM Conference

  • Participate in the California HR Case Competition with our faculty advisor

• Spring Semester:

  • Participate in CSUB and CSU State-wide Research Competitions
