Sungjin Kim

I’m an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Rutgers Business School, Newark and New Brunswick. I am interested in Bayesian data analysis and quasi-experimental methods. My current research focuses on public policy, non-profit marketing, and sustainability. My work has been published in leading marketing journals such as Journal of Marketing Research and Journal of Marketing.

I hold a Ph.D. in Marketing from Cornell University, an M.S. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, and a B.A. in Economics from Yonsei University. Before entering academia, I worked as a marketing manager in the steel industry.
