Nicole Moore

"The Go To" - Nicole is Dawnee’s BFF, past and future. They have known each other for 18 years and have seen each other through thick and thin. Nicole is the glass of wine to Dawnee’s shot of whiskey. She is the old soul, always on time, never lost, and gives true and meaningful advice; enough cannot be said for Nicole. Don’t challenge Nicole to a song name competition, as a favorite high school past time was having Dawnee over to listen to her extensive iTunes collection.

Best Man

Brac Heiss

"El Amigo" - Brac is the Best Man and dog trainer extraordinaire. On one random night roving into the back step of Rescue 1 while studying for the Lieutenant examination, both knew they were the peas to their carrots when quizzing each other over random obscure items within the study material. Since that time, Brac and Jeremy have been there for each other through tough times and good times. You can catch these two in mid conversation of either dog training, hunting stories, or planning their next great adventure. Legends say that if you listen closely, angels play harpsichords when Brac enters a room.

Carrie Jo Koonce

"Golden Arm" - Carrie and Dawnee have known each other for nearly 17 years while growing up together in Elkhart. Last year Carrie and Dawnee’s brother, Ty, got hitched and instantly Carrie became part of the family, officially. Unofficially, she has always been a part of the family as the star of Dawnee’s father’s FFA team and welding prodigy. Now, she is the well-known county veterinarian with a kind heart towards all animals, including Ty.

Ty Koonce

"Rooster" - If all goes well on October 14th, Ty will be Jeremy's brother-in-law and pheasant hunting companion. They live by the motto, "ride together die together"; just ask them about their latest pheasant hunting trip where some local Morton County residents believe they might be the feds. Ty is known for his sharp shooting abilities, so don't upset him. Also, don't challenge him to any game as he always wins; yes he is THAT guy.

Allison Sayers

"The Judge" - AKA Allison by common folk, is Jeremy’s sister. Meeting last year on a quick 3 day trip to Colorado for Allison to make sure Jeremy is “doing ok”, Dawnee and Allison quickly became friends. During the trip, Allison even partook in dancing extravaganzas at a local country dance hall, shot her first gun at the clay shooting range, and had famous Rocky Mountain Oysters at the Fort restaurant, proving her worth to Dawnee. As far as the law was concerned, Allison quickly approved of Dawnee’s willingness to be part of the family when she offered help in airport transportation as Jeremy had to be on shift the day she left back to Maryland. Otherwise, if it was up to Jeremy, she would have taken a taxi.

Jason Sayers

"Two-Beers Maryland" - Jason brought order to Maryland with an iron skillet, unconventional cooking methods, and a pair of bad jokes. Jason is Jeremy's brother-in-law (or outlaw in this case) going on 12 years. Don't tell him he won't have a good time, as he will be smiling and laughing bringing comical relief to the wedding party.

Karen Alliet

"Confidant" - Karen and Dawnee met in Wisconsin while working at Discount Ramps, and from there it flourished into a tried and true friendship. Always loving and welcoming, Karen is best known for providing Dawnee with fond memories of having fun while still taking care of her family at home. Karen has seen Dawnee through ups and downs in each other's lives with a nice full glass of wine, good laughs, and always supporting family foundations. Don’t let her mother-like qualities fool ya. She is always down to party and laugh with close friends and family.

Steve Foulke

"The Taxidermist" - Steve has been a long time friend of Jeremy's since his joining of the Denver Fire Department in 2008 while stationed at Station 6. Also known as the taxidermist, Steve currently has managed to fully decorate the basement at the Koonce Raskin Ranch with his taxidermy works.

Stephanie Turowski

"The Voice" - Stephanie and Dawnee met at Fort Hays when they were freshmen in the dorms, and then became sorority sisters at Alpha Gamma Delta. You’ll find Stephanie singing at any karaoke event and can catch her frequently at Hobby Lobby for any crafting activity. She is also well known for holding Dawnee up and easing her mind when singing at mutual friend's weddings. Their best memories include Steph’s own wedding, Captain Morgan poses, pref parties, quality college lawn games, tailgating, Texas beaches, slumber parties, Halloween costumes, softball, and many, many girls nights out. Always up for a road trip and a good time, Stepanie brought many fond highlights to Dawnee’s road tripping past. Don’t forget to ask them about the Garden of Eden Mausoleum.

Patrick Cunningham

"The Doc" - Every posse needs that friend that gives great advice and is trustworthy enough to watch your dog; Patrick is that guy. Knowing Jeremy for only a few years, it was accredited with watching his prized pup on a whim while he ventured off to Kauai with his grandmother in 2016. Since then, Patrick has been a true confidant in Jeremy's life, giving dog training advice while being side-by-side on adventurous duck hunts.

Jenny Park

"Ms. Indiana Jones" - Always up for adventures, concerts, and coming in at the last second to save the day, Jenny has been Dawnee’s friend for five years and one of her original and closest friends when moving to CO. Just like Dr. Jones, Jenny is a teacher by day, wild adventurer on her “off days,” whisking away Dawnee and several other friends to mountain hikes, concerts, festivals, and many things Dawnee would not have experienced here living in Colorado without her. Don’t let her quietness fool you, she has been known to “get the party started” with ingenious party drinking games. Just you watch, plenty soon you will see someone fall on their face trying to pick up a shot of whiskey with their teeth from the floor.

Best Dog

Ace

"The Dog, the myth, the legend" - Jeremy's best buddy will be granting us his presence as "the best dog." Ace has been with Jeremy since he was born, minus a short 7 week stint when first coming to life in Oxford, Mississippi at Wildrose Kennels (where he happens to be the offspring of the great Wildrose Deke, the Ducks Unlimited mascot). With a lot to live up to, you can find Ace and Jeremy preparing for the next major hunt test and spending countless hours and miles in Jeremy's truck training for those well earned hunt retriever titles. Besides being an overall great gun dog, Ace enjoys his time smiling away at home being a fun loving happy pup that cannot wait to officially have a mommy!

Millie

"The Sassy Ginger" - Millie came into our family on July 19, 2017 and she fit in perfectly with our crazy lifestyle. Riding in the car for 10 hours on her very first day with Dawnee, this sassy redhead became accustom to long car rides, fun times, and chaos within the household. She has been Ace’s #1 fan at his hunt trials, traveling all the way to Montana the very next week of her family existence! She is quite a sassy redhead (just like her mom) and will amaze you with her “attitude” and “stubbornness”. Be sure to be on the lookout for her as she pops up at of nowhere! Also, if you’re missing socks or bras, check with Millie to see if she’s picked them up and placed them in her “lost and found” crate.

"Sassyfrass Root Beer" - Presenting for your viewing pleasure - Eliza, the flower girl. Known more commonly as Jeremy's niece, Eliza will surely enchant the night with her beautiful smile and congeniality. Photographers beware, she may start to perform a runway show or photoshoot for you if you are caught taking pictures of this doll!
