Soft Tissue Surgery

At Sunflower Sanctuary, we're proud to offer a fully equipped, donated surgical suite where our expert team performs a range of life-saving procedures, including amputations, mass removals, abdominal foreign body removals, biopsies, and more. This state-of-the-art facility enables us to provide urgent care and treatment to those in need, and we're grateful for the generous donation that makes this vital work possible. Our goal is to provide veterinary surgical care to our nonprofit community partners as well as clients in the Salt Lake Area that are unable to provide the standard of care to their pets elsewhere due to financial limitations.

Our surgical capabilities include:

• spay and neuter services

• pyometra surgery

• mass removals

• forelimb and hindlimb amputations

• enucleations (eye removals)

• foreign body removals in stable pets

• and more!

**Unfortunately, we do not yet have the ability to perform orthopedic 

procedures at this time (i.e. fracture repairs, hip replacements, etc) **
