Meet Dr. Jess Wallinger, Sunflower Sanctuary's compassionate and skilled veterinarian. Originally from Connecticut, Dr. Wallinger pursued her passion for animal welfare at Becker College in Massachusetts, earning her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Science. She then went on to graduate from Ohio State University's prestigious College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021.

Recently, Dr. Wallinger made the move to Utah, where she helped plan the Sunflower Sanctuary team. With her expertise and dedication, she is making a tangible difference in the lives of animals in need.

Dr. Wallinger's extensive education and experience make her an invaluable asset to our sanctuary. Her love for animals shines through in every aspect of her work, and we are beyond thrilled to have her on our team.

Dr. Jess donates 100% of her time to the sanctuary in an effort to selflessly keep costs low for those that cannot afford traditional gold-standard veterinary care. We are so grateful!
