Proper Figure Skates with good ankle support and quality blades are essential for your skater’s safety and development. If you are unsure about what qualifies as “proper” figure skates please reach out and one of our coaches will be happy to help.
Warm Clothing: Warm but flexible clothing for ease of movement. Shirts and jackets should not extend below the knees.
Gloves to keep hands warm and protected.
Water Bottle so skaters stay hydrated during practice.
Carnival Participation
Each year our club hosts a fun and exciting year-end carnival where skaters perform choreographed routines set to music while wearing costumes that match the theme of the show. This event gives skaters the chance to celebrate everything they have learned throughout the season while building confidence and teamwork skills.
Parents and guardians are responsible for the cost of costumes and will be asked to source the appropriate costume for their skater. Because the carnival is a team effort and an important part of the season, participation is mandatory for all skaters. If your skater must opt out for any reason, please notify us by December 15th so we can plan accordingly.
More details about the carnival, including theme and costume information, will be shared as the event approaches.
