R E M E M B E R, EACH PERSON'S SKINCARE Needs ARE UNIQUE.
Hi guys! Today I am updating my skincare routine blog page to keep it as current as possible. so, whether you're looking my favourite skincare products, you've come to the right blog! :)
Skincare is so individual, and what is good for you may not suit for me. It's essential to understand that I am 28 years old and have dry to sensitive skin, which means that my primary skincare aims are hydration, anti-aging, and gentle on the skin. However, if it describes your skin type, you will undoubtedly benefit from this blog!
Moreover, for everybody wanting to utilize the advantages of skincare products, I recommend a Korean skincare regimen.
Okay - Let's get right to the point of your visit β€
So letβs start with my morning routine. I try to follow the steps for a morning Korean Skincare Routine.
STEP 1 : CLEANSING
Cleansing is a necessary step in the Korean skincare process since perspiration, oil, and filth accumulate overnight on my pillow and must be thoroughly cleaned in the morning. I don't want the build-up from last night to remain in my pores and cause breakouts throughout the day. When cleansing, begin by massaging an oil-based cleanser into dry skin. Clean well and then use a water-based cleaner. This cleansing oil purifies, smoothes, and softens the skin.
STEP 2 : TONER
Toner is a contentious step in the area of skincare, but it is essential in a Korean skincare routine. This helps to regulate the pH of your skin and aids in the absorption of any following products.
STEP 3 : ESSENCE
This process is elective, but I believe it is my favourite due to my skin absorbs the essence and I feel as if it adds another layer of moisture and leaving my skin full. Hydration in the morning also results in decreased sebum production throughout the day, since my skin goes into overdrive and produces more oil when it is dehydrated. An essence is a must-have for folks with oily or combination skin. Additionally, some types have healing actives that feed my skin as it hydrates.
STEP 4 : MOISTURISER
Most probably, this process is already included in your morning skincare routineβso I don't feel as if I'm adding anything new. This is the last stage in encapsulating everything. A good moisturiser should not leave your skin feeling greasy or sticky; rather, it should provide a protective barrier on your skin, allowing your sunscreen and cosmetics to apply much more smoothly.
STEP 5 : SUNSCREEN
Recently, it seems as if individuals are becoming more aware of the risks of sun damage. You've heard it often from most people, but Sunscreen is a necessity. Remember! There is no use in following all of these methods if your skin is not adequately protected from injury during the day. Yes, you must wear it daily. Even if it is cold and cloudy. Do not forget to apply sunscreen!
In general, a night skincare routine should include a cleanser, a toner and/or essence (referred to as a prep step), a treatment step (AKA a serum, peel, etcβthe type will vary according to your individual needs/goals and may even rotate throughout the week), a moisturiser, an eye cream, and an optional facial oil.
STEP 1 : OIL-BASED CLEANSER
The night routine begins with an oil-based cleanser that removes oil-based makeup and pollutants from the skin.
STEP 2 : CLEANSING
After the cleanser, apply cleansing to gently remove any oil residue or water-based pollutants that have formed over the day.
STEP 3 : EXFOLIATE
I often scrub my body and face to open pores. Moreover, it is a frequent procedure to remove dead skin cells and pollutants. Use a bead-based or light enzyme exfoliator twice a week to exfoliate dead skin cells that may dull the complexion and clog pores, blocking vital cleaning components from being absorbed. Don't forget to open and seal the pores with both cold and warm cloths before to exfoliating and applying products.
STEP 4 : TONER
After then, it is necessary to use toner to restore the skin's pH balanced. This helps prevent the skin from getting dehydrated and dry.
STEP 5 : ESSENCE
Essence is a mixed product that combines the benefits of a toner and a serum. It instantly hydrates the skin, assisting in cellular renewal for a youthful appearance.
STEP 6 : AMPOULE
Like serums, are turbocharged serums that contain an increased concentration of active chemicals to address particular skincare needs. They are utilised for a brief period of time as a booster when the skin is in desperate need of assistance. By using ampoule at bedtime, the skin may absorb all the necessary moisture for the next day.
STEP 7 : SERUM
Serums are highly concentrated formulations that include an abundance of active ingredients and are designed to address particular skin conditions ranging from wrinkles to dark spots to dryness. Incorporate the serum into targeted regions of the issue.
STEP 8 : SHEET MASK
The mask is suitable for all skin types and is helpful for everyone. Many Korean ladies, regardless of their hectic schedules, utilise a face sheet mask more than once a day. My favourite is the sheet mask, which provides intense hydration and anti-aging benefits.
STEP 9 : EYES CREAM
Use an eye cream to the sensitive regions around the eyes to moisturise and protect them.
STEP 10 : MOISTURISER
Finally, but definitely not least, pick a night moisturiser to seal in all the great elements and ensure that you awake with a radiantly refreshed face.
