The Fossil Ridge High School Sun Dancers, is an organization that does more than just performing at football games, pep rallies and competitions. This organization prides itself on maintaining high moral standards and connecting themselves with not only their school community, but the general community as well.
Each year we plan to:
Perform community service projects.
Show school pride by performing at Football games and Spring sports' games.
Visit and perform at the Elementary, Intermediate and Middle schools in our feeder pattern.
Be involved within the campus of Fossil Ridge High School and the general community.
Have a Bingo Night in the Fall.
Compete at competitions in the Spring.
And so much more!
Bio:
Ms. Graves began dancing at the age of 3. She studied ballet, tap, clogging and jazz. She is a graduate of Martin High School in Arlington where she was a member of Sundancer Drill team. She was a member when they won Nationals. Ms. Graves served as Social Committee Spirit Leader, President, and Senior Lieutenant during her time on the team.
In 2021, she graduated from Stephen F Austin with her Bachelor of Science in Dance Education. She is excited to share her passion for dance with you. While at SFA, she was a member of XTE Dance Honors Society and served as treasurer. Her most passionate activity was dancing with DAC (dancers against cancer) while she attended SFA. She loved being able to use her passion of dance to help the organization raise money for a chosen recipient and cancer research organization.
Ms Graves started her career in Stafford, Tx at Stafford MSD. She was the director of the Award-Winning Sensations Dance Team. She taught both high school and middle school dance classes. She also served as the director of the colorguard for the Award-Winning Mighty Spartan Marching Band. They attended their first ever State Marching Contest in November.
Ms. Graves has experience in multiple styles of dance, dance production skills, judging, choreography, and more.

Bio:
Mrs. Armstrong has been dancing since high school, where she was a member of Birdville's Golden Motion Dance Team. She went on to earn her degree in Dance Education from Texas Woman's University, which deepened her love of art and the teaching of dance. She has taught classes with Gateway Performing Arts, sharing her passion of helping students grow in their confidence and technique. In addition to teaching, she has choreographed for summer camps and assisted with choreography for Gateway Church. Through each stage of her journey, dance has remained a place of joy, dicipline, and purpose in her life.
The Fossil Ridge High School Sun Dancers are an esteemed group of dancers that perform for their school and community. We believe that the organization is established on the foundation of enhancing growth and development of young dancers, preparing them with lifelong skills. Our organization strives to implement a foundation of ethical behavior and integrity; cultivating a culture of dedication and passion through the art of dance. Our dancers learn commitment, team work, dedication and are encouraged to serve in their school and community as positive role models.
