LinkedIn Learning offers thousands of video courses to help you learn about business, technology and creative skills taught by industry professionals. Certificates are offered for completed courses and some can be used toward professional accreditation.

Getting Started
Getting Started
When accessing LinkedIn Learning, this will be the first page you see. Click "Get Started".
Logging In
Use your Marigold barcode and pin to sign into LinkedIn Learning.
Main Page
After logging in, you will see the main page appear. You can get back to this page later by clicking the site logo in the top left corner of the screen. Here you will see any courses you have in progress, top picks curated for you, and courses based on skills you follow. You can change these skills in the "My Goals" tab under "My Learning".
Main Page
Hovering over a video will expand a course show you a description as well as give you an option to save the course to watch later. You can find your saved courses under the "My Library" tab in the "My Learning" section.
Browsing
Browsing
In the left collapsible bar, you can select three options under "Browse". All videos are classified under these three options, business, technology, and creative. Selecting any of these options will bring you to a landing page for those topics. You can then branch out to find your next course.
You will see role guides, learning paths, topics, and software tags under these three sections, which will be explained in the next view images.
Role Guides
The role guide contains top courses, skills, learning paths, and certificates related to a specific job path.
Learning Path
This section is essentially a course of courses. It is a list of courses that are all geared toward advancing your skills on one topic. Completing the learning path will grant you a certificate.
Topics
This lists all topics under business, technology, and creative subjects. Clicking on a topic will bring you to a new page with all relevant videos where you can filter by type, hands-on practice, time to complete, and level.
Topic Headings
Selecting a topic heading will show you videos specifically related to the topic heading you've selected, but will also show you the topics under the heading as well if you want to narrow your search.
Software
To see all videos related to specific software, select one of the options at the bottom of the page. Clicking on a software option will bring you to a new page with all relevant videos where you can filter by type, hands-on practice, time to complete, and level.
Courses
Accessing Courses
When in a course, you can customize how you view the video by adding captions, changing the volume, speed and quality of video. When watching courses, videos are set to automatically move to the next video. You can turn that setting off by using the gear icon on the bottom bar on the video. If you would like to view your video full screen, select the option on the far right of the bar at the bottom of the video.
Course Details
Scrolling below the video will show you the course overview including details on the instructor, a description of the course, what skill you're working on, how many other people are taking this course, and related courses.
Notebook
Below the video, you can select the "Notebook" tab which will allow you to make any notes you need relating to the course.
Transcript
Below the video, you can select the "Transcript" tab. This will alow you to follow along with the video while reading exactly what the instructor is saying. This is helpful when creating notes as well as you can copy and paste exact phrases in the even you need to study them later. As the instructor speaks, the related line in the transcript will turn bold and underlined. You can also click on a segment to take you to that part in the video. There is a search bar, which can search in the video or the whole course.
Course Videos
On the left hand side of the video, you will see all videos that are in the course. To move to a different video, just click on the title. To earn the certificate at the end of the course, you must watch every video all the way through, without skipping through. Once a video has been completely viewed, there will be a green checkmark that appears to the left of the video title. Videos in progress will have a white dot and unwatched videos will have a circle.
My Account
Access through the left navigation bar or under the "Me" Icon in the top right
My Library
In the "My Library" tab, you can view any course you have in progress, any saved courses, collections of saved courses you've created, and your learning history.
In Progress - any courses you are actively working on. The three dots on the right of the video will allow you to save or unsave the course, add to a collection, move to history, or remove it from your In Progress tab.
Saved - This will be any courses you have chosen to save. From here you can select the course to play or you can add it to a collection. The three dots to the right will allow to remove the video from the saved list.
My Collection - Saved videos that you can sort into a collection that helps you organize the courses you want to. You can create a new collection in this tab. Clicking the three dots to the right of the video will allow you to edit or delete a collection.
Learning History - View all courses you have completed.
Certificates
Click the three dots to the right of the course in question to download the certificate for a completed course.
Goals
View any goals you have created as well as any skills you have followed.
Weekly Goal
To help keep you on task, set a weekly goal.
Manage Skills
Under the "My Goals" tab, you can view and manage any skills you follow or want to follow. By "Skills Followed" select "Manage". You can search new skills or select any suggested skills. This is also where you can delete any skills that are no longer relevant to you.
Manage Skills
As you search a skill, LinkedIn Learning will show a large amount of skills related to what you're searching. Select any to add them to your followed skills.
Manage Your Account
Use the "Me" icon on the top righthand side of the screen and select "Settings" from the drop down. You can then change any of the options lists for your account, including language.

Earn professional certificate for over 175 different credentials. This is for programs (like Microsoft or GitHub), professional accreditation (Human Resources, Project Management), even academic credits for certain universities.
Office Hours
View any live events hosted by industry experts. You can register for upcoming events or view recorded sessions.
Help
To get website help, select "Get Help" from the "Me" icon in the top right or "Help" from the left navigation bar.
