Summersville Fun Days Quilt Show
The annual Summersville Quilt Show will be Saturday July 23rd 2022 from 8:00 to 12:00 C.S.T.
This year the quilt show will be located under a big tent on the grassy field. I will have a quilt show sign board set up pointing to location.
There is no entry fee for this event and we welcome any and all participants. this event is open to everyone, not just to those who live in the Summersville community.
Quilt entries may be dropped off from 8:00 to 9:30 c.s.t.
Viewing and voting will be from 10:00 to 12:00 c.s.t.
Tallying of votes will be from 12:00 to 12:30 c.s.t.
Winner will be announced at approximately 12:45
The quilt may be any type/style and does not have to be made by the person entering it into the event.
this year we ask that each participant only enter one quilt due to limited table space.
Participants can rest assured that their treasured quilts will not be left unattended at any time during the days display. The chairperson in charge will be present throughout the entire event.
Also your quilt will be covered with clear plastic once they have been placed onto covered tables for viewing in order to protect them.
This year we will be voting differently than in years past, where each person only could cast 1 paper vote.
This year Your votes will be cast by you placing pennies / $ Bills into a container located next to each quilt that you wish to vote on, and you may cast as many votes as you want, as many times as you want, and on as many quilts as you want.
(1 penny = 1 Vote / $1 = 100 votes) etc.
We will have ribbons for the 1st 2nd and 3rd place winners
All The money collected from votes will go to the Summersville Fire Department.
We ask that you promptly pick up your quilt once the event is over.
We will be looking forward to seeing lots of beautiful quilts, so mark your calendars and make plans now as to which beautiful quilt you want to enter.
If you need further information or plan on entering a quilt please call Pam Perkins at (270) 932-1775 to get your name on the list so we can adequately prepare.
Thank you in advance for your participation and your support to this event and the fire department.
