Call for Participation

This ACM SIGCHI Summer School is open to Academic and Industry Researchers and Students.

To attend Summer School the Prospective Participants will be requested to submit a 500-word statement of purpose, including current research experience and areas of interest.

The submission will be a 2-page Position Paper. The position paper requires the description of participants Current Research Project/The Started Project on the 1st page. Participants should provide his Area of Interest in Research (summarizing their current and future research interests), Research Motivation, Statement of Purpose (max. 500 words) and Bio/Short CV on 2nd page. Double column submission (PDF) in ACM Template (Interim layout) is preferable. The accepted participants will eligible to attend the Summer School and will have a presentation session (Tentative) to present the research idea to the community.

*We also focus on Industry researchers and practitioners. Participants from the industry will be requested to submit a 500-word statement of purpose and a short CV/Resume (PDF) online.

Note for previously attended participants

The participants who already have joined previous events and want to submit position paper again must show the progress of previous research proposals. It will be strictly monitored by the committee.

** You may join as an ACM Member. For students, it will cost US$ 18 (Student membership) and for professionals, it will cost US$ 20 (Professional membership).
