Participation in the Summer JIM Days is free, but registration is mandatory.

Who can participate? You must be either a student (Master, PhD) or have completed your PhD within the past 10 years (time extensions may apply). Holding an academic position is not a requirement. 

How to register: To attend, please complete the registration form below.

Important: You must register before submitting a contribution or applying for funding.

• Registration without submission: June 1, 2025 Closed!

We invite and encourage everyone to submit a contribution for a talk or a poster to share your research, connect with the academic community, and spark new collaborations.

How to submit: If you would like to present, please submit your presentation using the form below. Your submission should include a short abstract (3-6 sentences, without references).

Financial support for participation costs is limited. You are welcome to apply, and we will notify you of the decision in due time. However, we strongly recommend seeking additional sources of funding as well, as we may not be able to cover all expenses.

Eligibility: Priority will be given to students (Master, PhD) and early-career researchers without other means of support and who will be presenting a talk or a poster.

How to apply: If you require financial support, please complete the application form below. In your application, briefly describe:

• The expenses you need support for (e.g., travel, accommodation, or additional costs for an accompanying person if attending with young children).

• Why our support is essential for your participation.

• Whether you have received or applied for partial funding from other sources.

The program includes networking dinners and a range of evening cultural activities designed to foster connections among participants. These activities provide a great opportunity to engage with fellow attendees in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

Please note that some social activities may require an additional cost. Details will be published on this website, so we encourage you to check back regularly for updates.

Information on how to register for social events will be sent to participants closer to the start of the conference.
