Information Seminário Maior de Coimbra

Seminário Maior is a religious seminary located next to the Botanical Garden, offering room rentals as well.Accommodation typology: rooms with 2 beds (most), 3 beds, double bed and 1 room with 5 beds. All rooms have a private bathroom.Reception hours: reception at the entrance is permanent from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. If arrival or departure is after this time or on a Sunday, we request prior contact to ensure service at the desired time. It is possible to store luggage at the reception. Check-in: from 2 p.m. on the day of arrival; however, it can be done earlier if the room(s) are available. Departure: until 12:00 on the day of departure. Check-in and check-out times during your stay: there are no time limitations; however, we request and appreciate minimal noise during the night so as not to disturb the rest of the resident community. Breakfast is served in the refectory between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. Meals (lunch/dinner) must be requested at least 24 hours in advance; they are served in the refectory, and the hours are: lunch: 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm; dinner: 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Payment and reservation guarantee: 50% payment is usually requested with the reservation confirmation and the remainder before arrival, but full payment can only be made before arrival or upon arrival if it is more convenient. Payment can be made by debit or credit card at the entrance or by bank transfer to the account Parking is available and free at the front or right side of the building.
