"How often do you find yourself struggling to understand important information from your course material?"
One question we asked was how often people struggle with understanding the important information from their course material. The situation was fairly even, but the answer "occasionally" received more votes. Knowing this, we can state that students really struggle with this matter. This result indicates that our target group has been chosen correctly.
We asked the students how long it usually takes them to summarize a single chapter. The answers were once again quite even between "Less than 30 mins" and "30 mins to 1 hour". The result was expected from the experience. Summarizing a single chapter can take a while. Because of this, free time is an opportunity cost.

"Have you ever used a summarizing service before?"
The result of this question was also expected. Summarizing services are not very common at least in Finland. Therefore, finding a market niche was easy.
One of the most important questions we asked was how people would like to receive their summaries. We were surprised how many people actually wanted to receive their summary as an audio version. This is something we need to develop in the future if there really is a demand. However, video summaries did not receive support as we expected. Therefore, they are left out of the picture for the time being.
"How would you like to receive your summaries?"
"Would you be interested in trying our service?"
Our last question was if people would be into trying our service. Everyone answered "yes". This was a very positive response from our point of view. The response indicates that there will be high demand in the future as well.
Summary: Based on results, it is fair to say that service like SummarizeU is useful for students. It is possible to increase the level of learning by using our service.
