Our story

Once upon a time, there was a group of university students who struggled due to the amount of material they needed to learn in courses. They spent countless hours studying these materials but they still didn't fully understand the topics. That frustrated them and they felt like there had to be a better way to study.

One day, an apple fell from a tree on the head of one of them and he realized: what if they could create summaries of the most important topics in their courses? They started working on this. Textbooks were read, notes were taken, and the material was condensed into summaries that were easy to understand. Now they were able to study more efficiently.

The students began sharing their summaries with their classmates, who also found them incredibly helpful. They realized that they had created something valuable and unique that could be useful for other university students as well. They decided to establish a company for this purpose. An organization supporting others with their studies would be a success.

So that is how SummarizeU was born. In the beginning, the organization contained just a handful of students creating summaries for their courses, but it grew quickly after a while. 

Challenges

However, the journey was not all about dancing with roses. After SummarizeU was founded, the first challenge appeared. When demand grew rapidly and a growing number of students were using their service, they needed a new way to produce summaries for a larger number of courses and subjects. They started to recruit more students to help with the summarizing process and they also simplified the division of labor.

After a while, another challenge for SummarizeU was encountered. The school staff was suspicious of the company. They were of the belief that the summarizing service would be a replacement to their course materials and the students would no longer attend lectures. SummarizeU needed to gain the trust and support to continue. They worked to build relationships with school staff and faculty, proving them the value of their service as only a learning tool.

In the end, SummarizeU was able to overcome these challenges through hard work and perseverance and continued to grow. Their offering expanded to include more subjects and courses. Nowadays, they are a trusted resource for university students, helping them understand their coursework better in less time.
