Consumers:
Algae eating Fish - omnivore
Bears- Omnivores
Sumatran Orangutans - Omnivores
Sumatran Buffalo - Herbivore
Sambar Deer - Herbivore
Chital- Herbivore
Information:
These organisms are all consumers. This is due to them all having to resort to consuming other organism for energy. These are all organism except plants. Herbivores are also consumers as plants are living organism. This mean that they consume the organism (plant) which is alive. Though as plants do not have flesh, it makes them herbivores not carnivores. All consumers are classified by the scientific name heterotrophs.
Producers
Tree Leaves
Algae
Grass
Information:
These plants are called producers due to their ability of being able to produce their own energy by employing photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is where a plant utilises sunlight to be produced into energy. This differs from a heterotroph who as stated above flourishes with the energy from other organisms. These organisms are then classified as autotrophs.
