The tapestry is a part of a two-piece installation. I have used a vast variety of textiles to create layers and texture and fabric manipulation to create bodily and visceral forms. The vibrant colors and embroidery are reminiscent culturally and bodily.

Hand dyed chiffon and georgette, polyester fiber, yarn and beads, 7ft. by 3.5 ft approximately.
The sculpture, part of a two-piece installation, is a soft structure made from chiffon, dyed in flesh-like tones of red, purple, and brown. The form evokes inner anatomy, detailed with red yarn and intricate embroidery of orange and red beads accentuate its visceral appearance, emphasizing a bodily aesthetic.
