About me

Süleyman Kasal is an academic in Public Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Anadolu University.

He earned his PhD in 2021 with a dissertation examining fiscal-policy uncertainty and its macroeconomic consequences.

His research lies at the intersection of public finance and macro-finance, with a particular focus on sovereign debt, public debt management, sovereign risk, government bond markets, and the transmission of external shocks in emerging economies.

Kasal teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on public debt, public finance, and tax policy. His research has been published in national and international academic journals and edited volumes.
