Reading group on tropical geometry
This is a reading group on tropical geometry. For the first half, we will follow Mikhalkin-Rau's book 'tropical geometry' to learn some backgrounds. Following that, we will discuss with two specific topics: tropical Hodge theory and tropical Lagrangians, both of which are motivated by mirror symmetry. Here is a tentative schedule: (Schedule)
The meetings take place on Thursday 12:30pm-2pm, in JCMB 5323. If you'd like the Zoom link, want to join the mailing list, or are interested in volunteering to give a talk, please feel free to email me. Here is a link for the notes (in progress) by Jeff Hicks.
