อุทยานเบญจสิริ หรือ “สวนเบญจสิริ เป็นสวนสาธารณะขนาดย่อมใจกลางเมืองกรุงสร้างบนพื้นที่ของกรมอุตุนิยมวิทยาในอดีต ที่นอกจากจะเป็นพื้นที่สีเขียวเล็กๆใจกลางเมืองที่เต็มไปด้วยความวุ่นวายแล้วนั้น ยังเป็นสถานที่พักผ่อนหย่อนใจของผู้คนบริเวณพร้อมพงษ์และอโศกที่มีทั้งชาวไทยและชาวต่างชาติมาพักผ่อนและทำกิจกรรมพักผ่อนหย่อนใจอีกด้วย โดยในพื้นที่บริเวณของสวนใจกลางเมืองแห่งนี้ยังมีแนวคิดหลักที่โดดเด่นและแตกต่างจากสวนสาธารณะที่อื่นๆ นั่นก็คือสวนเบญจสิรินั้นเป็น “สวนประติมากรรม” ใจกลางเมืองนั่นเอง ซึ่งสวนสาธารณะแห่งนี้ได้รับการออกแบบภูมิทัศน์โดย ศาสตราจารย์กิตติคุณเดชา บุญค้ำ แนวคิดหลักของที่นี่คือ “สวนประติมากรรม” ใจกลางเมือง มีประติมากรรมที่แฝงนัยยะความหมายประดับสวนอยู่ทั้งหมด 18 ชิ้นกระจายอยู่ด้วยกัน ซึ่งจะจัดอยู่รอบๆบริเวณต่างๆของสวนแห่งนี้โดยเราสามารถพบเห็นได้ทั่วไปตามจุดต่างๆในระหว่างการวิ่งออกกำลังกายหรือขณะที่เดินเล่น ซึ่งงานศิลป์นั้นจะค่อนข้างมองเห็นและเป็นจุดสังเกตได้ง่ายด้วยเช่นกันตามมุมของสวนหรือบริเวณพื้นที่สีเขียวนั่นเอง
