• Sukanta receiving the Publication Prize Award from BINA (Bar-Ilan University) (May 2025)

• Sukanta has been selected as one of the winner of the "2024 Rising Star Award" of the platform Web Of Talents (https://weboftalents.com). 

In 2024, 18 awardees were selected among 2000 participants (Jan 2025)

• Sukanta received the publication prize award from BINA (Bar-Ilan University) for the second time (Sep 2024)

• Sukanta's abstract, titled- "Near-Field Microscopy of High-Index Topological Insulator and Chalcogenide Meta-Atoms"  has been accepted for oral presentation at the International Conference on Advances in Optics and Photonics Instrumentation (OPTOIn2024) to be held from 23-25 Oct, 2024, at CSIR-CSIO, Chandigarh, India (Sep 2024)

• Sukanta's work on "Near-Field Nanospectroscopy and Mode Mapping of LeadTelluride Hoppercubes" (Advanced Optical Materials, 2024) was highlighted in the Bar-Ilan Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials (BINA) Innovative Research section- https://nano.biu.ac.il/Innovative_Research (Aug 2024)

• Sukanta received the publication prize award from BINA (Bar-Ilan University) (May 2024)

• Sukanta received the Outstanding Reviewer Award 2023 ! from the Journal of Micromechanics and Microengineering-IOP (Feb 2024)

• Michal's paper on "From monolayer to thin films: engineered bandgap in CVD grown Bi2Se(3−x)Sx topological insulator alloys", published in Journal of Materials Chemistry C has been selected for inside back cover ! (Feb 2024).

• Sukanta has been invited by the European Physical Society to deliver an Invited talk at the 9th International Topical Meeting on Nanophotonics and Metamaterials (NANOMETA-2024), (January 03-06, 2024), Seefeld, Tirol, Austria.

• Sukanta's paper on "Unveiling Local Optical Properties Using Nanoimaging Phase Mapping in High-Index Topological Insulator Bi2Se3 Resonant Nanostructures", published in Nano Letters has been selected for supplementary journal cover ! (Oct 2023).
