Step #1
Make a commitment to participate in the Science Event. Complete the Science Event registration form online or return it to a classroom teacher by Friday, January 31.
Step #2
Find an adult to help you plan, organize and safely do your project. This could be a parent, grandparent, teacher or other grown-up. (Note to Adult Helpers: Although it is tempting to do more, please remember this is the child's project and he or she should do most of the work.)
Step #3
Decide upon a project that interests you and plan your project with your adult helper. Safely do the things to complete your project and use adult help when needed.
Step #4
Neatly and accurately present your findings and/or information on the tri-fold display board that can be picked up at Sugar Creek on Monday, Febrary 10th
Step #5
Bring your display board and other materials to school for set-up on Thursday, March 6. Invite family and friends to the Science Event on Friday, March 7, and join us for a fun event! When the event is over, help clean-up your project and display board. Please take your science project home with you at the end of the evening event.
