Sue McNeil
Sue McNeil is and Emeritus Professor of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering and Public Policy and Administration. She is also an Emeritus Core faculty member in the Disaster Research Center at University of Delaware and a Visiting Professional Fellow at University of New South Wales. She is a former Department Chair, and Director of the Disaster Science and Management graduate program and the Disaster Research Center. Her research and teaching interests focus on transportation asset management. Her most recent research includes the impact of natural hazards and climate change on physical infrastructure and asset management with emphasis on resilience.
Personal Note
I retired at the end of August 2022. My intention is to continue to be professionally active serving on committees, writing papers, advising my current students, continuing as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Infrastructure Systems and completing the current projects. However, I will not be advising any new students.
