• 24/7 text, phone (Facetime included), and email support from 38 weeks through onset of active labor

• In-person support from onset of active labor up to 2 hours after birth

• Text/phone/email support after birth through 6th week postpartum

What’s included in these sessions?

Non-judgmental, compassionate, and grounded support. I work with women and couples who seek a completely unmedicated and non-interventional birth, women who want epidural pain medication, cesarean births, and all the variations in-between. My job is to answer your questions, meet your concerns with respect and my experience, and walk with you as you face anything that comes up along the journey. 

During our meetings we may:

• review positions for labor

• discuss the hormones of labor and birth

• explore the phases of labor

• breastfeeding basics

• fears around birth

• birth plans and visions

• prenatal yoga for pregnancy

• normalize feelings

• discuss ways your partner can be involved as your primary physical support person 

 Postpartum doula

• 1 postpartum meeting to determine your needs

• help with newborn care including diaper changes, naps, feedings, bath, and baby wearing

• care for baby so parents can nap, rest, shower, eat

• breast and/or bottle feeding support

• light housekeeping (dishes, laundry, tidying up)

• food preparation (breakfast, lunch, dinner, healthy snacks)

• help with sibling adjustment

• $50 an hour (minimum of three hour sessions)

—Birth and postpartum options require a 50% retainer and contract to book your time on my calendar.

 Nanny/Sitter

• Experienced mother and grandmother with recent nanny experience

• References provided on request

• Regular child care for up to three children during academic year, birth to school age

• $30 an hour
