Lesson 2 Create an A Stop Motion Animation
During this lesson you will create a really cool animation using an app called 'Stop Motion Studio'.

Before you begin sit back and watch the amazing animations created by our year 7 and 8 students who followed this tutorial: Year 7 animations and year 8 animations.
1. Download the Stop Motion Studio app onto your tablet or smart phone. It is free.
2. Watch this YouTube clip showing you how to create a stop motion animation using the Stop Motion Studio app: https://youtu.be/9FQTqAH1k60 You will use this app to turn the flip book you created in lesson 1 into a real digital animation. Or, you can use it to create any stop motion animation of your choice.
3. It is really important to keep both your device and the flipbook as still as possible. Try and be mindful of this when you create your animation.
