Research Interests
My research focuses on international trade, with a particular emphasis on how trade policies, agreements, and conflicts shape the global distribution of agricultural goods. I use empirical and structural approaches—combining high-dimensional panel econometrics, structural gravity models, and causal inference methods—to study how policy shocks such as retaliatory tariffs influence trade values, prices, and quantities across markets. Broadly, my work aims to deepen our understanding of market adjustments, substitution patterns, and resilience in global agricultural trade networks.
