Please do not email sensitive documents, scanned identification, financial information, or other confidential files.SCANNING DOCUMENTSTo scan a document:1. Open PDF Scanner.2. Start a new scan.3. Position the document within the camera view.4. Capture the pages you need.5. Review the pages and save the document.PDF Scanner converts the captured pages into a PDF stored in your document library.CAMERA ACCESSPDF Scanner requires camera access only when you use the document scanning feature.If camera access was previously denied, you can review the permission in:iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Cameraand enable access for PDF Scanner.IMPORTING PDFsYou can import existing PDF documents using Apple's Files interface.The file provider you choose may be local storage, iCloud Drive, or another file provider installed on your device.OCR AND TEXT RECOGNITIONPDF Scanner can recognize text from supported documents using on-device text recognition.Recognized text can help you find and work with documents inside the app.ORGANIZING DOCUMENTSYou can organize your library using features such as:• Folders• Tags• Favorites• Search• Sorting and filtering• Smart organization featuresSHARING AND EXPORTINGDocuments are not automatically sent to other people or services by PDF Scanner.When you choose to share or export a document, iOS presents available destinations and services. Any third-party service or cloud provider you choose may process the document according to its own terms and privacy practices.BACKUP AND RESTOREPDF Scanner provides backup and restore functionality through Apple's Files interface.You choose where an exported backup is stored.Keep your backup folder and its contents together. Modifying or removing files inside a backup may prevent the backup from restoring correctly.DELETING DOCUMENTSDocuments can be deleted from within PDF Scanner.Deleting the app may also remove locally stored app data from the device.
