Check out our Custom drone spraying trailer build!
We operate off a Big Tex gooseneck trailer; the deck is 24' long with a 8' x 32' flight deck on top. Our custom built spraying trailer has the ability to carry 550 gallons of water, or 1100 gallons when auxiliary tanks are installed. The 100-gallon "hot" tank means we can spray multiple acres before mixing more chemicals. This enables us to spray up to, if not more than, 600 acres per day.
The roll out video is on TikTok or Facebook!
Almost finished! Got the flight deck finished up with adding charging boxes, and a box for the batteries and coolers. Runway lights are in. The landing areas are painted. Plumbing is all finished. All that is left is new bushings for the springs...and clean up!
The flight deck is on and all the "chicken lights" are installed. Tanks were set on the bottom deck. Now to finish off the battery/charger storage areas, add electrical wiring, and all kinds of plumbing!
Paint is on - time to install the deck and "Chicken Lights."
Primer is on. Time to paint!
Grinding and sanding; sanding and grinding. After four days of prepping, wiping, and taping down the trailer, we are ready to start to painting process.
Got the rear "bumper" on and the side skirting. It is looking more like a completed product. Time to start grinding and sanding to prep for paint.
Finished the railing, got the relay mast installed and started the finish welds.
Got the stairs in and the front skirt built.
Angles, angles, angles. Got the railing started on around the pilots area and the landing for the staircase. As we progress, we get into the intricate work!
We got all the joists tacked in, a few gusset supports and the frame out for the steps. Dealt with multiple angles all day long. Math is fun!
Many hands make light work. We got all the vertical posts installed and the horizontal pipe. The floor joist are cut, notched and drilled. Thankful for all of the support on this advanced trailer build!
