Privacy Policy — Subscription Tracker

This Privacy Policy explains how Subscription Tracker ("the App," "we," "us") handles information when you use it. We built the App to work with as little data collection as possible.
1. What we collect
By default, the App only stores the information you type in yourself: subscription names, prices, billing cycles, categories, and renewal dates. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly enable an optional cloud-sync or backup feature.
We do not require an account, email address, or phone number to use the core features of the App.
2. What we don't collect
No advertising identifiers
No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
No sale or sharing of your data with data brokers or advertisers
No access to your device contacts, photos, or location
3. Optional features
If future versions of the App offer cloud backup, notifications, or a premium subscription:
Cloud backup would sync your entries to secure encrypted storage tied to your account, solely so you can restore your data on a new device.
Push notifications for upcoming renewals use only the device token needed to deliver the alert.
In-app purchases / subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details — only a receipt confirming purchase status.
4. Data retention and deletion
You can edit or delete any entry at any time within the App. Deleting an entry removes it immediately from local storage.
5. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Because data is stored locally by default, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the App.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you inside the App before they take effect.
