Subbroto Kumar Saha, Ph.D., is an accomplished researcher currently serving as a Staff Scientist at Harvard School of Dental Medicine/ADA Forsyth Institute, since July 2024. Prior to this position, he held notable roles, including Junior Faculty (Non-Tenure) at the Department of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences, University of Maryland Baltimore from July 2023 to June 2024, a Post-Doctoral Associate at the University of California, Davis / Shriners Hospitals for Children-Northern California, from October 2020 to June 2023. He also served as a Post-Doctoral Researcher (01/2020 - 09/2020) at the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and as a Research Assistant Professor (03/2018 - 01/2020) at Konkuk University.
Dr. Saha earned his Ph.D. degree in Animal Biotechnology, specializing in Molecular Oncology, from Konkuk University, South Korea, in August 2017, under the guidance of Prof. Ssang-Goo Cho. Prior to that, he completed his MS and BS degrees in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, respectively, from Islamic University, Kushtia, Bangladesh, in 2008 and 2007. During his academic journey, he also completed his MS thesis at the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR), under the supervision of Dipa Islam (Senior Scientific Officer, IFST, BCSIR).
With a diverse research background, Dr. Saha's interests span various areas, including molecular oncology, tumor biology, genomics, proteomics, craniofacial abnormalities, and neural tube defects. His dedication to scientific advancement has yielded substantial contributions to the field, reflected in the publication of over 50 research papers in esteemed peer-reviewed international journals. Furthermore, he has gained valuable research ethics and experience as a Research Assistant at Konkuk University, Sejong University, and Islamic University.
