Background
CD40 is a major driver of various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. This makes CD40 a recognized therapeutic target against these disorders. We utilize transgenic mice made in the laboratory and pharmacologic approaches to study the role of CD40-TRAF signaling in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
