She obtained her Ph.D in the year 2017 and PhD dissertation was on "Financial Constraints and Firm internationalization: A case study of India." Her area of interests includes International trade, Firm Productivity among other. She has published in journals including Journal of Economics and Finance, Journal of Quantitative Economics, Asian Development Review, and Economics Bulletin.

Chundakkadan's research works have been published in World Development, Small Business Economics, Economic Modelling, International Journal of Finance and Economics, and Innovation and Development.

He has presented his works in various national and international conferences. He was also invited for seminar series conducted by IGIDR, Mumbai. His research papers have been published in Economic Sytems (Elsevier), Indian Economic Journal (Sage), Studies in Microeconomics (Sage).
