Welcome to the online resource hub for troop leaders and volunteers of Service Unit 60-8 of Girl Scouts Nation's Capital (GSCNC)!
The goal of this site is to quickly connect you to helpful key resources - if you have a suggestion for additions or improvement, please contact a member of the SU Team.
What is a Service Unit? A service unit (SU) is the next organizational level up from a troop. Service units are led by a team of volunteers with the goal of uniting troops in a geographic area. SU Teams provide communication, education, encouragement, and support to troops. They also provide opportunities for troops to gather together and build our community!
All Girl Scout troops in the city of Alexandria that meet south of King Street are members of SU 60-8. We are one of eight service units that make up Association 60, which includes all troops in the city of Alexandria and the county of Arlington.
THANK YOU for all you do for Girl Scouts!
