Reba

In November 2024, I added a new member to the SRP crew, Reba. She is a purebred red Border Collie. Reba is a sweetheart, and I look forward to utilizing her instincts. So far, we have been focusing on obedience. Reba has learned the following: sit, stay, lie down, that'll do, heel, paws up, and get behind. Reba has also started to work with the cows and is a natural! She understands walk up, come by, and away from me. Most recently, Reba has come to school with me, and we have started agility to keep that Border Collie mind of hers busy. Both she and I enjoy it so much!!

From August 12th to 15th (2025), Reba and I participated in an Intro to Herding Workshop with Mary Anderson from Nordika Stock Dogs. Reba was exposed to sheep for the first time, and we fine-tuned our existing commands. I think I need some SRP sheep now! This workshop was so fun, and we both learned so much.
