Sewing at Studio Elvine happens in two ways: workshops and group lessons

Workshops

Workshops at Studio Elvine are small, hands-on sewing sessions designed to build practical skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. Some may have a seasonal project theme.

Workshops are released based on interest, allowing classes to run when there is genuine demand and aligned availability. Limited community-rate spots are available for each offering.

Price: $35–$55 per workshop

Final pricing shared when dates are released. Pricing includes materials unless otherwise stated.

Beginner Sewing

Skill level: Beginner level 1
Format: One workshop (2 hours)

Learn how to confidently use a sewing machine, understand basic tools, and practice foundational stitches. Perfect for absolute beginners or anyone returning to sewing after a break.

Seasonal Project

Skill level: Beginner–Confident Beginner
Format: One workshop (varies by season)

A rotating workshop focused on a seasonal project such as a tote bag, apron, simple garment, or home item. Projects change throughout the year.

Group Lessons

Group lessons are designed for students who want to develop sewing skills over time in a small, consistent group.

If you are wanting to learn more in a social setting this is for you. Groups range from 3-5 and are in a consistent location where you bring your own machine or arrange ahead of time to have one provided for you.

Beginner Sewing Foundations

Format: Small group lesson series (4–6 weeks)

This progressive course builds confidence at the sewing machine through guided practice, simple projects, and foundational techniques. Ideal for beginners who want structure and continuity.

Pricing: $30 per session ($125 for 4 sessions)

Group lessons are released once minimum interest is reached.
