Hi! I’m so glad you're here, I'm Karen Rude the maker and teacher behind Studio Elvine. I’ve been sewing for15 years, and I created this studio to offer beginner-friendly sewing education that feels approachable, thoughtful, and grounded in real life. 

Sewing has always been a place where creativity and calm meet for me. What started as a spark to grow a creative skill grew into something I wanted to share especially with beginners who need patience, encouragement, and space to learn. 

Teaching sewing allows me to combine creativity with practical life skills. I love helping learners slow down, build confidence with their hands, and discover that they can create something meaningful from scratch.
