Learn How to Mend
Patching is an easy and fun way to cover a hole in your favorite shirt or jeans. It works well with woven material. Here we will share with you two styles, patching from the "front" and "back". The steps are similar, but the visual outcome will be different depending on which side you place the patch.
1. Cut out a patch to a size that covers the hole + the weakened area.
2. Place patch over the hole and fasten with pins.
3. Stitch the edge of the patch to the fabric.
4. (Optional) Add running stitched to reinforce the weak area.

Stitch around the hole to prevent further damage such as the hole growing or fraying.
You can camouflage the stain with running stitch,
cover it with embroidery or a patch
or play with the shape of the stain!
