Crafting your vision with Pictability - preschool and primary school children

Session 1 is about understanding how your child's strengths is your launching point to plan for his or her future.

Pictability(TM) is a game-like tool for parents to create their positive, strength-based vision for their child, their family and themselves. During the vision setting activity participants use pictures and visuals to:

  • Craft an inspirational vision for their child and family.

  • Formulate first steps to achieve short term goals, clearly delineating focus and action points.

Informed by families: Pictability visuals were co-designed with families to build capacity and inspire wellbeing and flourishing.

Evidence based: Goal cards were informed by evidence about how parents used Individualised Funding to achieve their goals.

Pictability

The Pictability tool is made up from a series of engaging images and boards.

It was designed by parents, for parents.

It invites parents to expand on ideas to create deeper and more meaningful (i.e., developmental, social, learning) children goals as well as family and personal goals for themselves.

Mindfulness Colouring Book

Mindfulness has been shown to improve wellbeing.

There are many ways to develop mindfulness.

One of them is through the experience of colouring.

Our workshop book is inspired from the mindfulness adult colouring evidence.

Colour in or just write in it - you decide!
