Inspire the Next Generation of STEM & Healthcare Leaders

StudentSTEM-NC is seeking passionate mentors -- college students, researchers, nurses, physicians, or STEM professionals -- to guide curious high schoolers across North Carolina. Whether you can give one hour or one year, you can make a difference.

Ways to Get Involved:

Career Mentorship: 1:1 match with a student (monthly Zooms)
Webinar Speaker: Join a panel and share your journey
AMA Contributor: Answer short questions anonymously

Time Commitment (Flexible):

Mentors commit to one 30–45 min meeting/month
OR participate in a one-time webinar or AMA

Who We’re Looking For:

Pre-med/health college students
Nursing, PA, radiology, or public health professionals
Med students, residents, or doctors
Friendly, inclusive, and reliable mentors

Expectations:

Communicate respectfully and on time
Provide encouragement, not pressure
Keep all conversations professional
