How do I apply?
All interested students must APPLY using the link found on the homepage.
Successful returning travelers will be given priority–past travel does not guarantee a spot. Remaining spots will be considered based on application responses. We also do our best to achieve a balanced mix of students in each grade level.
Do I need a passport?
YES! Every student must have a passport that is valid for 6 months after our return. If you do not currently have a valid passport, you must begin the process of getting one as soon as you have a confirmed spot on the trip.
Do all travelers have to speak Spanish?
While not required, it is recommended that all students be studying Spanish or be very willing to learn! Native and Heritage Speakers are also welcome. Please note that a solid base of Spanish skills is extremely important for the Peru and Spain trip as students will be working one-on-one in schools.
Please note that this is NOT a MCPS/school-sponsored trip and that all trip preparation and activities will take place outside of school hours.
