Our Mission
The Students’ Choice Coalition exists to equip and mobilize high school students to participate meaningfully in local democracy. Through civic education, campaign training, and creative advocacy, we want to help students lead efforts in their communities—whether it’s endorsing candidates, speaking at board meetings, or running their own campaigns. We know that this is a tumultuous time in national politics, and that truly boils down to the local level. We are in an era of book bans, federal funding being cut to education, and a million other issues. We believe students deserve to have a say in their education, educational policies, and in their local governments.

Our Vision
We envision a country where young people are seen and respected as active agents of change in civic life—not just in the future, but right now. We believe that students, when given the right tools, can shift power and policy from the ground up.
