Digital drama involves creating, continuing, and enlarging conflict in the digital world. Online drama can be worse than irl drama because it:
- Reaches like everyone immediately
- Includes images, videos, audio, gifs, etc. to capture attention.
- Can be anonymous
- Tone cannot be conveyed, resulting in miscommunication
- Headlines, not real facts, matter
- No immediate consequences
- The person-to-person connection is gone, so no one has to see reactions, facial expression, body language, etc.
