2 young plant shoots
Plant Hormone (auxin)
2 small pots

Here are the procedures to observe the role of the plant growth regulator that underlay in the plant itself as plant growth hormone. This experiment originated from Boysen-Jensen to examine the hormone work (Nagwa, 2021).
Use the cutter to cut the part that nears the tips of both plants in a pot. Most of the auxin hormone is gathered at the tips of the shoot system and the root system. The tips of the shoot system will be cut partially to reveal the impact from the experiment completely to get to know the consequence of hormone auxin.
Afterwards, the tips will be covered by a block of permeable gelatin in plant 1. Whereas the cut section of the plant 2 will be covered by a block of mica which is impermeable for auxins diffusion to bottom cell and organelles.
The plants will be observed in 2 weeks to take records plant growth circumstances. Watering and light sources to the plants will be supplied adequately to ensure the plants are not affected by these elements that will fail the objectives of this experiment. This experiment only investigates the phytohormones process by auxin and phototropism to both plants in a situation where it lost its tips and was covered by different material than plant to observe auxin diffusion. The other point is that the plant for experiment must be located at a fix position to access the light.
