The purpose of this art experiment is twofold:
1) to make local art more accessible to the public &Β
2) to encourage more whimsy in the world.
Lofty goals? Perhaps.. but we wouldn't be us without those, right??
This call was open to anyone who wanted to create a mini art piece specifically for this community art installation & all 20 spaces were claimed in 5 hours. Wow.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS.....

β¨ We provide you with a mini canvas (4x4")
β¨ You can decorate the canvas
β¨ You choose your theme, preferred medium, etc
β¨ You return your completed art to us
β¨ It will become part of a traveling, public art installation
β¨ Open to EVERYONE/ANYONE who wants to join in!
We'll be inviting the community to check out your art while it is on display.

..but we caught that wicked flu & it pushed us back 3 weeks. That's what happens when you try to be over-prepared, I guess. Lesson learned!

Well, mostly just one prize, but yes!! Everyone who enters our POCKET GALLERY SCAVENGER HUNT will be entered to win a Mystery Merch Bundle from us! All valid entries count, 1 entry per person. Winner will be drawn at random from all completed entries & emailed once this installation comes down & moves into Phase Two!
