Explore the Method Behind the Art
Welcome
As a mathematical artist with 38 years of experience, through my art I explore the beauty of symmetry, harmony, and structure. My work blends art and mathematics to create designs meant to spark curiosity and joy.
I’ve exhibited at the Bridges Math Art Conference and remain committed to supporting STEAM education through accessible, shareable creations. I find great satisfaction in offering designs that inspire learning, creativity, and play.
Below you’ll find more than 1,500 examples of products inspired by structural geometric topology, created through STEAM‑based CAD. The collection is organized by topological category and represents the foundational forms behind my artistic and creative process. These objects serve as the first step in the reverse‑engineering of my methodology, which I outline in detail on the methodology page of this site.
[Structural Geometric Topology Home] > [Topological Categories]
You can use the category guide organized by structure below to see my paper sculptures and graphic art. The number next to each category indicates the number of examples in that category.
My 3D prints and wooden sculptures are separate from the CGIs and paper sculptures and can be accessed by clicking on their links.
I use the graphic software Great Stella 4D Pro to visually represent the conceptual designs inspired by STEAM CAD.
Note: Blanks in this collection are left as opportunities for future artists to fill.
